This is a tool that helps reduce noise in photographs taken in low light levels. It uses multiple frame noise reduction techniques for this purpose.
ArcSoft Low Light NR is an image noise reduction application that uses Multiple Frame NR technology (MFNR) techniques. This technique combines multiple individual frames to produce one high-resolution image. A single shot may not contain enough details to improve the quality. Multiple shots taken in a burst mode by cameras are used to process them into a good quality single frame image. These techniques are used by the more recent cameras. However, if you are stuck with one of the older models, you can use this tool to get the same benefits. No need to upgrade cameras to get these improved quality images. The details from frames are combined into a single selected picture. Details are recovered from random noise, fixed pattern noise and banding noise, etc.
The noise reduction is combined with edge sharpening so that the photographs are better defined. It comes with an “auto group” feature that helps pick the best pictures in a group to use for recovery of details. This has a simple and easy to use interface. It is intuitive enough that most users should get familiar with it quite easily. Getting productive with it should not take much time. White balance, saturation, contrast, tone of photo and more settings can be easily adjusted. Cropping the pictures, brightening them and sharing on community sites is easy with this tool. This is a good product. It has many useful features. If you were looking for a product like this, this is one you could try out.
